The September 2026 ranking covers only licensed Russian bookmakers verified by the national tax authority. The 10 entries are assessed by experience, reliability, user interests, and platform convenience. Online betting is preferred to offline formats. A top 10 bookmaker ranking should be judged by those factors rather than by promotional claims alone.
Deposit Rates and Account Terms
Central-bank data show that maximum deposit rates at Russia’s 10 largest banks by volume fell from about 21.5%–22.2% in December 2024 to 13.0%–13.4% by September 2026.
The change followed a July 24 key-rate cut to 14%. Banks subsequently revised their deposit terms. One offer provides 14.5% for new clients with a minimum deposit of 100,000 rubles and 14% for existing clients. Other current offers include 13.5% with a 10,000-ruble minimum, 13.3% with a 1 million-ruble minimum, 13.35% with a 3 million-ruble minimum, 12.5% with a 500,000-ruble minimum, 12.75% with a 100,000-ruble minimum, and 12.7% with a 3 million-ruble minimum. Conditions are available through online financial-service platforms and should be checked before opening an account.
Current high-yield deposits generally range from 15% to 30%, depending on the bank, term, and deposit amount. Fixed-term accounts usually pay more but restrict access to the funds and may impose penalties for early withdrawal. Savings accounts offer greater flexibility, usually at a lower rate. Capitalization can increase the final yield, while non-capitalized interest is paid separately.
The Belarusian market shows a similar preference for local-currency savings. In 2026, BYN deposits exceeded half of total savings, helped by higher rates than foreign-currency products. The top 13-month rates for 10,000 BYN reached 12.6%, with income of about 1,462 BYN. Rates vary with the term and replenishment rules, so they should be verified with the bank. Diversifying currencies can reduce exposure to exchange-rate movements.
Short-term products can also advertise rates of up to 25% for one to six months, while other products offer about 20%, 16.5%, 13.5%, or 12.9% for selected terms. These figures depend on eligibility, minimum balances, and withdrawal rules. A high headline rate does not guarantee the highest total return.
Historical rate tables also show why the term and currency matter. In early 1998, the leading listed USD rates reached 15% for three months, 17% for six months, and 15% for 12 months. The leading RUB rates reached 24% for both three- and six-month deposits. These historical figures are not a guide to current offers.
Deposit comparisons are not investment advice. Check the current rate, minimum amount, capitalization method, replenishment terms, and early-withdrawal conditions before committing funds.
